Hello, my name is Sebastian Garcia, I am a photography student attending Miami Arts Charter as a senior. Since middle school, I have explored different photographic styles, but my passion lies in conceptual photography and portrait themes. My work wants to capture connections between people and places, using images to tell stories beyond the obvious. I have had the honor of having my pictures published in an online Magazine for The School of Visual Arts (SVA), a prestigious art and design college in New York City, for We the Place (2024), We the Present (2023), We the public(2025) as well as won a regional award (Golden Key ) in the 2024 and 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards One of my images was also selected and won first place for the JR Orange Bowl Photography Competition in 2021 and was showed twice at the student shows at the Bass Museum. These experiences help me grow as a photographer, pushing me to explore abstract ideas and emotions. I use my camera to capture moments and tell meaningful stories.
